Experiment 1

This piece came about after thinking about my extra paint from each day. I was wondering how I could use the paint and also make a piece that was very free with no preconceived thoughts and expectations. And that is exactly what happened! Each day after I was done with whatever painting project I had worked on I would take the left over paint (usually not much) and apply it to the canvas. I absolutely loved this experience! It was just what I was looking for with doing something so free. I looked forward to it each day. I didn’t give myself a deadline to finish it. I just let the painting speak to me and let me know when it was done. I wanted to practice trusting my intuition.
