Imposter Syndrome

I recently was asked to do an interview for an online magazine, Bold Journey, talking about imposter syndrome. On some level we probably all have times we struggle with this. The dreaded comparison game. We learn it as children and at least for me it’s still showing up. Maybe part of the problem is social media. I would like to blame it all on that. And yes that is a big part of the problem… challenge. We are constantly being shown what others are doing… the best moments in their life. It can make our life seem dull, boring, not enough. Let me tell you friends…. that’s a BIG FAT LIE! We are seeing curated moments, not total real life. And beyond that, what’s more important to focus on is the fact that you are enough. Let me repeat that. YOU. ARE. ENOUGH. right now. Right as you are. The things you do or are learning to do are enough. You have value and what you do has value. Even if you are in the learning phase and figuring things out.

So back to the interview… I talk a little bit about how I have dealt with imposter syndrome. If you would like to check it out here’s the link. Read more here.
